Privacy policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This website collects the bare minimum. Here is what data is processed, why, by whom and for how long.
Data controller
Pierre-Olivier Brodeur, Cleantech Expansion. Contact: [email protected].
Contact form
- Data: name, email, company, phone and message; company and phone are optional.
- Purpose: replying to your enquiry and, if we work together, following up on the relationship.
- Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request, and legitimate interest in replying to people who get in touch (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Provider: the form is provided by Tally BV (Belgium), which stores responses in the European Union.
- Retention: three years from our last exchange, unless a contract is in progress.
Meeting booking
Meetings are booked through Calendly (Calendly LLC, United States). You provide your name, your email and, where relevant, a few details about your enquiry. Calendly participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The data is used only to arrange the call and is kept under the same conditions as form data.
Follow-up
The contact details of people I correspond with may be stored in my business email (Microsoft 365) and in my customer relationship management tool (Attio). These providers may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
Analytics and cookies
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies and without identifying visitors: only aggregate statistics are produced (page views, country, device type). The Tally form may use storage that is strictly necessary for it to work.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. To keep the service secure and running, Cloudflare processes technical connection data (IP address, browser) for a limited period.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You will receive a reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
No sale or transfer
Your data is never sold, rented or passed on to third parties.
This English version is provided for convenience; the French version prevails.
